#EmbraceEquity To Eliminate the Gender Pay Gap
For decades, women have struggled with equal rights and unique financial challenges. In honor of International Women’s Day, and every day, let us #EmbraceEquity to eliminate the gender pay gap. There are many reasons why, but here are just a few: As of 2022, there were approximately 74.09 million employed women in the United States earning just 82 cents for every dollar earned by men. Considering that women live longer than men, they also need to save more for retirement. Plus, women also pay an average of $1,300 more a year on products and services just because of their gender, otherwise known as the “pink tax”. In fact, prices of products targeted at women are increasing faster than those for men.

These financial obstacles are faced daily and women deserve the same pay as men for the same job. It’s time to embrace equity and level the playing field once and for all.
